Southern Tier Startup Alliance (STSA)
Through the support of Cornell University, Binghamton University, Corning Enterprises, LaunchNY, and NYSTAR, the Southern Tier Startup Alliance (STSA) works to unite the contributions of incubators and entrepreneurial resources throughout the region, helping to enhance the scope of existing services and produce additional support as needed across the Southern Tier.
Hardware Entrepreneurship Ecosystem
STSA also aims to increase the number and diversity of employment opportunities available in the region’s growing economy. Efforts towards this goal include the launch of the Southern Tier Hardware Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, funded by a grant from the EDA. The program combines the region’s assets in engineering, materials science, and manufacturing with cutting-edge business incubation, acceleration, and entrepreneurship theory to foster entrepreneurs and quicken the development of product-oriented startups.
