These initiatives help bridge the gap between academic discovery and market-ready technologies, accelerating the launch of successful startups. Accelerators are not about physical space, rather they are about intense programmatic offerings. Incubators combine space with programming and are targeted towards certain verticals with ongoing, longer-term dedicated mentorship.
